ASPENS ON THE AVENUE September 25, Old Colorado City Stroll the streets of Old Colorado City while enjoying the fall colors and taking in hundreds of fall themed artwork on display from wood-turners, metal workers, painters, jewelers, and more.

HARVEST FEST AT THE HOLY CROSS ABBEY September 25-26, Cañon City Live music, fresh roasted chilies, sweet vendor booths, loads of wine tasting! Bring your lawn chairs and picnic baskets and soak in a lazy fall afternoon. Free admission. Wine tasting tickets available for purchase. Attention parents: please note that we will not be having a kids fun zone this year.

McALLISTER HOUSE MUSEUM Harvest Festival Sept 25 10:00 am - 02:00 pm Celebrate the 150th anniversary of Colorado Springs at the McAllister House Museum’s Harvest Festival. FREE with antique cars, live music, apple pie raffles, food and beverage, kids arts and crafts, tours of the McAllister House and more!

ASPEN TOURS 2021 Sept 25-26 & Oct 2-3, 10am-4pm, Cripple Creek Take a photo with the donkeys, learn about gold mining, past and present, visit historic locations, and so much more! Spend an hour or the entire day in the safety of your own vehicle, learning about the World’s Greatest Gold Camp! All proceeds benefit the feral donkey herd of Cripple Creek. This year’s tour is again self-guided and begins at the Heritage Center above town, map and script are available for a $10 donation.

2021 Harvest Festival @ Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site Oct 2, 10am - 5pm The Ranch is filled with activities and fun in the crisp autumn air! Take a wagon ride with the family, listen to old-time music, pick a pumpkin to take home, scramble for candy, kick back on the lawn with a slice of pie, and take time to tour the Historic Homes, visit the Blacksmith, and more. Free admission for current members. Tickets $4-$8 each.

Reynolds Ranch House Harvest Festival @ Western Museum of Mining & Industry Oct 2, 9am - 4pm / Oct 3, 12pm - 4pm Opening weekend features live music, gold panning with gold prospectors of Colorado, Petting Zoo from Black Forest 4H, and machine and blacksmith demonstrations. Plus, all of the Miners’ Pumpkin Patch activities: life-size games, hayrides, pumpkin smash & catapult, apple cider press, cornhole, ladder ball, kid sized hay-maze & slide. Food trucks, photo ops and of course—locally sourced pumpkins! $10 in advance $12 at the door Plus $5 per pumpkin. Museum Members $5 per person.

FALL HARVEST FESTIVAL October 9, 11am - 3pm, Gold Hill Mesa Bring the kids out for live music, pony rides, and more! There will be pony rides, a petting zoo, glitter tattoos, and a pumpkin patch.

Miners' Pumpkin Patch @ Western Museum of Mining & Industry Oct 9, 16, 23 & 30 9am - 4pm It’s the most wonderful time of the year!  Enjoy an authentic Pumpkin Patch with outdoor games, hayrides, kid-size hay maze and slide, a genuine apple-press and more. There will be food trucks, a fall farm stand, and of course…locally sourced pumpkins! Advance Admission: $10 (This price includes your first pumpkin.) At the Door: $12 | 3 and under are free. Additional pumpkins available for $5 each. Food Trucks and Museum admission are separate. 

OLD COLORADO CITY FALLIDAYS October 30, 2020 12pm - 5pm Old Colorado City's Fallidays is a Friends & Family MUST DO! Apple and Pumpkin Patch, Sidewalk Sales, live music, art demos, fall fashions, balloon characters and 100's of local merchants to discover, all in Old Colorado City!

BLACK FOREST OKTOBERFEST & TRUNK OR TREAT October 30, 2021 3pm - 6:30pm Enjoy German beer, brats, music, and contests. Kiddos can participate in the Trunk or Treat for safe trick or treating. Entrance is free.

BOO AT THE ZOO Oct 16-17, 22-24, 29-31, 4pm - 8:30pm Cheyenne Mountain Zoo A unique experience for kids to dress up and trick-or-treat in a safe environment. The zoo strives to promote sustainability by providing candy that is made without palm oil. $19.75 - $24.75 - Advance timed admission tickets required.

PUmpkin Patches

In addition to a fun family day out, this could be a great opportunity to capture great family photos. Spend the afternoon picking apples, blueberries, raspberries, and pumpkins at pick-your-own-farms. Check the links below for specific dates and times!
